Obsidian 9 rests in conversation with the shadow—the quiet space that holds what we are not yet ready to name. The nine dark forms, each with a polished center of obsidian, create a rhythm of stillness and depth.
Traditionally used for grounding and scrying, obsidian is said to reveal hidden truths and absorb what is no longer needed. This work considers the calm that lives within the void, suggesting that when we soften our focus and release the need for clarity, we open ourselves to receive what is already waiting in the dark.
